How Much Coverage Do I Need
Almost every state requires you to buy a minimum amount of liability coverage. It may be that you will need more than just the minimum amount because accidents can cost more than the minimum limits. Speak with one of our agents now to find out what kind of coverage suits your individual needs.
In addition to liability coverage, you may want to consider buying other types of coverage according to what you are trying to insure. For example, if you wanted to insure a motorized vehicle or a boat, you may want to think about purchasing collision and/or comprehensive coverage. On the other hand, if you are a homeowner purchasing a home then there is dwelling coverage and others as well.
Decide on a deductible—the amount of money you pay on a claim before the insurance company reimburses you. Typically, deductibles are $1,000 or $2,500; the higher your deductible, the lower your premium.
Everyone's situation is different which is why we recommend that you consult with one of our agents to get a better idea for what you need.
